12 Why the webcam screen is black?
go back		 1. Make sure that your camera is turned on and properly connected. Also, try running other video applications to see if it is a problem with the camera. If so, contact the technical support of your camera vendor.
2. This is a problem caused by the way some webcams interact with your video card. Right click on a blank area of desktop and select properties. Go to the Settings page and click Advanced. Go to the troubleshooting section and you'll see a slider for hardware acceleration. Slide this as far to the left as it will go.
